KickbackMaintain firm grip; stand to side of cut line
Flying debrisWear safety glasses, face shield, gloves
Noise exposureUse hearing protection
Dust inhalationUse water system; wear dust mask if dry cutting
Blade contactKeep hands away from cutting area; ensure blade guard is intact
Fuel handlingRefuel in well-ventilated area; engine off and cool
Electrical hazardsKeep away from power lines; check for buried cables before cutting
Hot surfacesAvoid contact with engine, exhaust, blade during/after use

WARNING! Never operate without proper training or if fatigued. Keep bystanders at a safe distance.

Technical Specifications

Components & Controls

Key components: Engine, cutting blade, blade guard, depth adjustment mechanism, handle with throttle control, water inlet/outlet, fuel tank, transport wheels.

Control/ComponentFunction
Throttle LeverControls engine speed
Choke LeverAssists cold starting
Engine ON/OFF SwitchStops engine
Depth Adjustment WheelSets cutting depth
Blade Guard ReleaseOpens guard for blade access
Water Flow ValveControls water supply to blade
Transport HandleFor moving the saw

Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Attach handle: Secure handle to main frame using provided bolts and wrenches.
  2. Install blade: Ensure engine is off. Open blade guard, mount blade on arbor, secure with flange and nut. Close guard.
  3. Check fluids: Add engine oil to correct level (see engine manual). Fill fuel tank with clean, fresh gasoline.
  4. Connect water: Attach hose to water inlet. Ensure water supply is clean and adequate pressure.
  5. Pre-operation check: Verify all fasteners are tight, guards are secure, and controls function properly.

CAUTION! Use correct tools for assembly. Do not force components.

Operation Instructions

Starting and basic cutting procedure.

  1. Pre-start: Place saw on flat surface. Open fuel valve (if equipped). Set choke for cold start.
  2. Starting: Set engine switch to ON. Pull starter cord firmly until engine starts. Gradually move choke to run position.
  3. Warm-up: Allow engine to run at idle for a few minutes.
  4. Begin cut: Position saw at start of cut line. Adjust depth if needed. Open water valve to lubricate blade.
  5. Cutting: Apply gentle forward pressure. Let blade do the work; avoid forcing. Maintain steady feed rate.
  6. Stopping: Release throttle, allow blade to stop. Turn engine switch to OFF. Close fuel valve.

Tip: Plan cut path to avoid rebar clusters or obstructions when possible.

Cutting Depth Adjustment

Use depth adjustment wheel to set precise cutting depth.

  1. Loosen depth lock lever (if equipped).
  2. Turn adjustment wheel to raise or lower blade relative to the surface.
  3. Use scale or measure from blade edge to ground for accuracy.
  4. Tighten lock lever once desired depth is set.
  5. Make a test cut on scrap material to verify depth.

Note: Do not exceed maximum recommended cutting depth for the blade diameter.

Water System Operation

Water reduces dust, cools blade, and prolongs blade life.

WARNING! Never operate without water when cutting concrete unless equipped with certified dust collection.

Maintenance Schedule

IntervalTask
Daily (Before use)Check fuel, oil, water connections; inspect blade for damage; check guards and fasteners
After each useClean exterior; flush water system if using additives; check for loose parts
Every 25 hoursClean air filter; check spark plug; inspect blade mount
Every 50 hoursChange engine oil (refer to engine manual); grease pivot points (if applicable)
Every 100 hoursCheck drive belts/chains for tension and wear; inspect water pump
Seasonal/StorageDrain fuel or add stabilizer; run dry of water to prevent freezing; store covered in dry place

Blade Replacement

  1. Ensure engine is OFF and cool. Disconnect spark plug wire for safety.
  2. Open blade guard using release mechanism.
  3. Use blade lock or wrench to hold arbor stationary. Loosen arbor nut (usually reverse thread).
  4. Remove old blade, clean arbor and flanges.
  5. Mount new blade with correct rotation arrow facing forward. Reinstall flanges and nut, tighten securely.
  6. Close and secure blade guard.
  7. Reconnect spark plug wire.

CAUTION! Always use diamond blades rated for the material and speed of the saw. Wear gloves when handling blades.

Storage & Transport

Proper storage extends machine life.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Engine won't startNo fuel, choke incorrect, spark plug faultyCheck fuel, set choke properly, inspect/replace spark plug
Loss of powerDirty air filter, old fuel, clogged fuel filterClean/replace air filter, use fresh fuel, replace fuel filter
Excessive vibrationDamaged/worn blade, loose blade or componentsInspect and replace blade if damaged; tighten all fasteners
Blade cuts slowly or overheatsDull blade, insufficient water, too much pressureReplace blade, increase water flow, reduce feed pressure
Water not flowingKinked hose, clogged nozzle, faulty pump/valveStraighten hose, clean nozzles, check pump and valve
Uneven cut depthWorn guide rollers, loose depth adjustmentInspect and replace rollers if worn; tighten depth mechanism
