Assembly & Setup

  1. Oil: Check level before each use. Change every 25 hours or seasonally.
  2. Air filter: Clean every 25 hours, replace when dirty or damaged.
  3. Spark plug: Clean and gap (0.030 inches) every 100 hours.
  4. Fuel: Use fresh gasoline. Add fuel stabilizer for storage.
  5. Cooling fins: Keep clean to prevent overheating.

WARNING! Engine is hot after operation. Allow to cool before performing maintenance.

Storage & Winterization

Proper storage prevents damage during off-season.

  1. Drain fuel or add fuel stabilizer and run engine for 5 minutes.
  2. Change engine oil and filter.
  3. Remove battery and store in cool, dry place (charge monthly).
  4. Clean entire mower, especially underside of deck.
  5. Store in dry, covered location.
  6. Cover with breathable fabric (not plastic).

CAUTION! Never store with fuel in tank without stabilizer. Gasoline degrades over time.
