Assembly Instructions

Starting Procedure: Insert safety key, set throttle to choke (cold start), pull starter cord firmly.

Operating: Engage blade lever, then squeeze drive control to move. Adjust speed with selector.

Stopping: Release drive control, disengage blade lever, turn throttle to STOP, remove safety key.

Safety Interlock System: Engine will not start unless blade is disengaged and safety key is inserted.

Cutting Height Adjustment

Single-lever adjustment changes height for all wheels simultaneously.

  1. Stop mower on level ground and disengage blade.
  2. Pull height adjustment lever outward.
  3. Move lever to desired setting (1.5 to 4 inches).
  4. Release lever to lock in position.

Tip: For healthier grass, never cut more than 1/3 of grass height at one time.
