Pre-Ride Inspection

Always perform a thorough inspection before each ride to ensure safety and proper function.

  1. Check fuel level and ensure fuel is fresh (mix ratio 60:1 with recommended 2-stroke oil).
  2. Inspect tires for proper pressure (front: 1.2 bar, rear: 1.4 bar) and any damage.
  3. Verify brake function and fluid levels; check pads for wear.
  4. Check chain tension and lubrication; adjust if necessary.
  5. Ensure all bolts and fasteners are tight, especially on handlebars, levers, and wheels.
  6. Test lights, horn, and kill switch operation.

WARNING! Never ride with worn or damaged components. Always wear appropriate protective gear.

Controls and Instrumentation

Handlebar controls: Clutch lever (left), front brake lever (right), throttle (right), kill switch, electric start button, light switch. Instrument panel: Digital display with speedometer, odometer, trip meter, clock, and warning lights (neutral, high beam, engine temperature).

Key Positions: Ignition key for ON/OFF and steering lock. Fuel tap: ON, RES, OFF positions.

Adjustments: Handlebar position, lever reach, suspension preload/compression/rebound, clickers on fork and shock.

Specifications

Starting and Operating

Starting procedure (cold engine):

  1. Turn fuel tap to ON.
  2. Pull choke knob (if equipped) or use cold start device.
  3. Ensure transmission is in neutral (green N light on).
  4. Press electric start button (or use kickstarter) without twisting throttle.
  5. Allow engine to warm up for 1-2 minutes before riding.

Riding: Use clutch smoothly; shift gears as needed. Avoid prolonged high RPM operation during break-in (first 3 hours).

CAUTION! Do not rev engine excessively when cold. Always use clutch for downshifting.

Routine Maintenance

Follow service intervals for optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Fuel mixture: Always mix fuel and oil thoroughly before refueling.
  2. Power valve: Inspect and clean every 50 hours; adjust if necessary.
  3. Clutch adjustment: Adjust free play at lever (2-3mm).
  4. Cooling system: Check coolant level; replace every 2 years.

WARNING! Use only recommended oils and fuels. Incorrect mixture can cause severe engine damage.

Chassis and Suspension

Frame: Steel central tube. Suspension: Adjustable compression, rebound, and preload.

Adjusting suspension: Use clickers on fork (top for compression, bottom for rebound) and shock (high/low speed compression, rebound). Set sag: Rider sag should be 100-105mm rear, 65-70mm front.

Wheel alignment: Check regularly; adjust chain tension to maintain alignment.

Cleaning and Storage

Cleaning: Use low-pressure water; avoid direct spray on bearings, air filter, exhaust. Dry thoroughly; lubricate chain after cleaning.

Storage (long-term): Drain fuel from carburetor and tank. Remove battery and store charged. Lubricate all moving parts. Store in dry, cool place.

CAUTION! Do not use high-pressure washer on seals or electrical components.
