Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools.

  1. Install steering wheel: Align and secure with provided hardware.
  2. Attach seat: Mount to frame using bolts and washers.
  3. Connect battery: Attach red (+) then black (-) cables; secure in tray.
  4. Install cutting deck: Lower lift lever, slide deck under tractor, attach linkage and belt.
  5. Check tire pressure: Inflate to 14 PSI (front) and 10 PSI (rear).
  6. Add engine oil and fuel: Use SAE 10W-30 oil; fill with unleaded gasoline (87 octane min).

WARNING! Tractor is heavy; use assistance during assembly. Ensure all bolts are tightened to specified torque.

Controls & Operation

Familiarize yourself with controls before starting.

  1. Ignition: Insert key, turn to ON. Set parking brake.
  2. Starting: Press brake pedal, turn key to START. Release when engine starts.
  3. Driving: Release parking brake. Press forward pedal to go forward, reverse pedal to reverse. Speed is proportional to pedal pressure.
  4. PTO Engagement: Ensure engine at idle, pull PTO switch to engage blades.
  5. Cruise Control: Set desired speed, press cruise button to maintain.
  6. Stopping: Disengage PTO, return speed pedal to neutral, engage parking brake, turn key to OFF.

Storage & Winterization

Prepare tractor for off-season storage.

  1. Fuel: Add fuel stabilizer, run engine for 5 minutes to circulate, or drain tank completely.

  3. Battery: Disconnect negative cable, store in cool, dry place. Charge monthly.
