Storage Guidelines

Proper storage prevents fuel system issues and corrosion.

  1. Long-Term Storage (Over 30 Days): a. Run the engine until it stops to empty the carburetor. b. Drain all fuel from the tank into an approved container. c. Remove spark plug, add a teaspoon of engine oil into the cylinder, pull starter cord slowly, and reinstall plug. d. Clean the entire product and store in a dry, locked place.
  2. Battery Storage: Store battery at 30-50% charge in a cool, dry place (approx. 59°F / 15°C).

WARNING! Never store equipment with fuel in the tank indoors or in poorly ventilated areas.
